How to Set Up Email in Apple Mail (Mac)

Configuring Email on Mac with Apple Mail

  1. Open Mail > Mail menu > Add Account > Other Mail Account > Continue
  2. Enter Name, Email (your.email@yourdomain.co.za), Password > Next
  3. Incoming: IMAP, mail.yourdomain.co.za, Port 993, SSL On
  4. Outgoing: mail.yourdomain.co.za, Port 465, SSL On
  5. Click Sign In to verify and save

Troubleshooting

If connection fails go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Server Settings and confirm port and SSL settings are correct. Contact our support team if needed.
