Resolving 404 Errors

Fix 1: Flush WordPress Permalinks (Most Common)

  1. WordPress admin > Settings > Permalinks
  2. Click Save Changes without changing anything
  3. Test your pages

Fix 2: Restore .htaccess

  1. cPanel > File Manager ? public_html
  2. Create or restore .htaccess with standard WordPress rules

Fix 3: Set Up 301 Redirects

If a page was moved or deleted, install the Redirection plugin and create a redirect from the old URL to the new one.
