Free Website Migration
We offer free website migration for sites moving to Web Design Hosting SA. Our team will transfer your website files, databases, and email accounts from your current host with minimal downtime.
How to Request a Free Migration
- Sign up for a hosting plan at webdesignhostingsa.co.za
- Once your account is active, open a support ticket and request a migration
- Provide us with your current hosting provider name and your cPanel login credentials (or ask your current host for a full cPanel backup)
- Our team will handle the rest and notify you once the migration is complete
What We Transfer
- All website files
- MySQL databases
- Email accounts and their contents
- Domain configuration and DNS records
Important Notes
- We recommend keeping your old hosting active for at least 48 hours after migration to allow for DNS propagation
- DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate globally
- During this period, some visitors may still see your old host while others see the new one
